The Colonials are excited to be fielding the following teams for the 2026-2027 season:

Please register your skater(s) or yourself for the tryout session they/you will attend. Tryout sessions are divided based on team level. Please select from the options based on what they qualify for based on their age & skating skills test level. Skaters must attend a tryout to be placed on a team. Please note they may not be placed on the team that they tryout for. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to on-ice start time for each session.

All skaters attending tryouts for the Preliminary through Novice divisions must attend both tryout dates.

Tryouts are closed to all spectators to allow skaters to fully concentrate and perform at their best without the distraction of an audience.
Tryouts will be held at the Nashoba Valley Olympia Rink, Boxborough, MA, Rink 3.
​AGE AND SKATING SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

ASPIRE - Ages 5-17, No Test through Pre-Bronze Skating Skills

PRELIMINARY - Must be 13 years of age or younger (as of 7/1/26). Preliminary Skating Skills or above required. Pre-Bronze skating skills preferred.

PRE-JUVENILE - Must be 17 years of age or younger (as of 7/1/26). Pre-bronze skating skills or above required. Bronze skating skills preferred.

OPEN-JUVENILE - Must be 18 years of age or younger (as of 7/1/26). Pre-preliminary skating skills or above required. Pre-bronze skating skills preferred.

JUVENILE - Must be 13 years of age or younger (as of 7/1/26). Bronze Skating Skills or above required. Pre-Silver skating skills preferred.

NOVICE - Must be 19 years of age or younger (as of 7/1/26). Silver Skating Skills or above required. Gold skating skills preferred.

ADULT - Must be 18 years of age or older (as of 7/1/26). Preliminary skating skills or above required. Pre-Gold Skating Skills preferred.

OPEN ADULT - must be 18 years of age or older no test requirement (as of 7/1/26). Skaters should have a strong knowledge of basic skating skills.

MASTERS - All skaters must be 25 years or older (as of 7/1/26). No test requirement. Bronze skating skills or higher preferred.

OPEN MASTERS - All skaters must be 25 years or older (as of 7/1/26). No test requirement.
