  • Make new friends

  • Relax while performing and competing for competitive skaters

  • HAVE FUN AND ENJOY SKATING!

Who are we?

Colonial Figure Skating Club's Theatre on Ice (TOI) program started in 2009 with the creation of the Broadway Blades. Colonial FSC TOI is committed to providing a fun and supportive team atmosphere in which skaters of a variety of ages and skills can work together on both skating and theatrical skills.

Colonial Theatre on Ice Team:

  • Broadway Blades Juvenile Team – Skaters must have passed Pre-preliminary Skating Skills or higher to be eligible for the Juvenile Team. This is our highest level competitive team. Please note that Pre-preliminary is a minimum requirement; however, this does not guarantee that a skater will be offered a spot on this team.  Additional skills and experience are also taken into consideration when selecting teams.

  • Broadway Blades Preliminary Team - All skaters must be working on or passed Pre-preliminary Skating Skills to be eligible to join the team in the Fall, and must pass this test by April 1, 2025.

  • Intro to Broadway Blades - This is an introductory TOI experience for skaters from the Basic Skills 3 through Aspire levels. This is for young skaters looking to be a part of a group, learn basic skating skills, and how to perform. This group will perform in Winterfest and Ice Crystals shows!

What is the cost of joining TOI?

The Annual Tuition is broken into monthly payments in order to participate on a team. This price includes ice time, costumes, coaching fees, competition entry fees, hair and make-up, and apparel.  Fees are determined annually, and described in the Team Contract that is required to be completed for all team members.  There is a one-time, non-refundable deposit in order to secure a spot.
