The Colonial Synchronized Skating Teams have been busy this October! The teams started off with a successful local fundraising event at the Acton Oktoberfest to kick off the month. At the Colonial booth you could find the skaters selling delicious baked goods, painting faces like professionals and selling raffle tickets for a chance to win some fantastic MAC prizes. Although it was a rainy day, that didn’t stop the teams from getting to know their local community and making some new and supportive fans.
In addition to some big fundraising moments and many hard practices the teams managed to squeeze in some fun as well. Lali Haines, a certified yoga instructor and Intermediate mom, introduced the team to Vinyasa yoga! Not only was this fun for the team, but this taught the skaters yet another way to stretch and become flexible
