Victoria Fater
I gained so much from skating that was more than just on-ice skills, I gained a community of people, friends, and loved ones. I learned the importance of good sportsmanship, how to support and uplift others, and how positive reinforcement goes a long way. I learned discipline, routine, how to take care of myself and my body. These were all valuable lessons that shaped me into the person I am today, and lessons that I hope to instill in any athlete I work with.

My coaching approach is oriented in positivity. I love coming up with creative ways to show and explain how to do or correct something, whether it's drawing it up on the ice, using a fun analogy, or walking the skater step by step through the movements. The experience an athlete has at the end of the day is what’s important to me. I believe in creating a safe, supportive and fun environment in order to give them the best memories of this sport, the same way that I feel so lucky to have had.
