OBJECTIVE

To teach the fundamentals of skating in a safe and energetic environment and promote a lifelong love of the sport in my students. I hope to foster the development of my students into well-rounded athletes, as well as to provide a goal-setting and healthy lifestyle.

  • Head professional for BHSA figure skating program 2005-present

  • Ice show director for BHSA 2005-present

  • Co-Chair BHSA Winterskate (LTS USA compete with US) Competition 2009-present

  • Passed PSA basic accreditation test 1998

  • Passed Hockey level one certificate through PSA

  • Continuing education programs through PSA including: coaching the young skater, basic skills instruction certificate, sport safety, concussions, participated in and passed learn to teach program offered at Colonial FSC 3/2011

  • Successfully coached numerous skaters from pre-preliminary MIF through senior MIF and FS

  • Coach of adult national silver medalist in 2000

  • Coached many New England regional competitors, finalists and medalists in championship rounds 1998-2014

  • Coached New England regional Juvenile girls silver medalist and New England regional Intermediate ladies silver medalist 2006

  • Registered coach at 2006 US Junior figure skating championships in Westminster, Colorado Successfully coached a skater from learn to skate to a position with Disney on Ice

  • Coached several skaters onto Haydenettes and other Hayden synchro teams as well as Colonial synchro teams and I have skaters that participate on collegiate synchro teams including UNH, BC, UVM, and UMass

  • Co-director (Owner) of “power and edge camp” from 2000-2004

  • Owner/Director Preschool skating camps from 2011-present, Woburn, MA

  • Current registered USFS, ISI and PSA member

  • Safe sport trained, Greenlight background check, Liability insurance

  • Colonial FSC learn to skate committee 2018-2019

  • Colonial FSC search committee for executive club director position 2019

  • Recipient of the coaches award from Colonial FSC 2020 For the team effort in the research to hire an Executive Director for the club
