Aimee Buchanan
Aimee Buchanan has been coaching for 15 years. After her performance at the 2018 PyeongChang Olympics, she wanted to share her love for skating on a full time basis through coaching. She returned home to where she spent her time training, the Colonial Figure Skating Club, to begin her coaching journey. Since then she has coached students through their senior moves and senior freestyle tests and well as numerous competitions. Aimee also is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association) and teaches both off ice group class as well as private lessons. Aimee uses both the pole harness as well as line harness to assist skaters in learning new elements. Recently she acquired her USFS Master Rating in Freestyle, and has attended many conferences and conventions to further her knowledge. She coaches competitive skaters, recreational skaters, synchro skaters to work on their individual skills, and basic skills. Anyone that loves to skate, Aimee will enjoy coaching. :)
