The 2010-2011 season will mark Amy’s ninth year coaching the Colonials Open Adult team. Amy has been a long standing member of Colonial Figure Skating Club since 1992, starting as a young skater and later became a coach on staff at Colonial FSC in 2002.
Amy is an accomplished figure skater having earned her US Figure Skating Gold Medal in Freestyle, Moves in the Field, and Ice Dancing.
She has a very impressive competitive record in synchronized skating with ten trips to the U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships, medaling in all but the first trip. Amy has had the distinction of skating with the Haydenettes, out of Lexington, Massachusetts, under the direction of Lynn Benson. With the Haydenettes, Amy was privileged to capture the U.S. Synchronized Skating Title for all three consecutive seasons.
Amy was also part of the US World Synchronized Team from 2000-2002 placing fifth in both 2000 and 2001, and fourth in 2002. In addition to being a member of the World Team, her other international experience includes the following:
