Melanie has been coaching for 17 years. She was a US National team member for 5 years, a US National medalist in Pairs, and a 2-time New England Regional medalist as a Senior Ladies competitor.
Melanie has recently returned to the Boston area after 13 years of performing as a principle performer in various ice shows around the world, including Torvill and Dean’s “Dancing on Ice” TV show in the UK, and also ABC’s “Skating with the Stars”.
Melanie is currently a choreographer and assistant director for Woodstock Ice Productions, which produces professional ice skating shows throughout North America. She is also the assistant choreographer for the Holiday On Ice show “Festival” which currently tours Europe. Her choreographic accomplishments also include creating and choreographing routines for World and Olympic team members.
Melanie is a USFS Gold Medalist in Freestyle, Pairs and Moves in the Field.
