Felita Carr began skating at the age of nine in NY where for 10 years
she was a Freestyle skater. While skating as a child and young adult in
NY, Felita trained under top World and Olympics coaches. In her 20's,
Felita began Ice Dancing to broaden her knowledge of skating and that
led to a competitive career and national ranking in Ice Dancing.
Skating Accomplishments:

1997 Pacific Coast Sectional Championships - 1st place
1996 US National Championships - Competitor
1996 Pacific Coast Sectional Championships - 4th place
USFS Gold Medalist in Figures, Freestyle, Dance and Free Dance.
Felita has been coaching skating full time for the past 19
years, following her employment with an architectural firm in Boston. Felita
has successfully coached and trained her skating students through the
USFS Gold Freestyle, Gold Moves in the Field and Gold Dance tests.
Although Felita offers training in all 3 of the aforementioned
disciplines, the vast majority of her time is spent teaching
Freestyle. Her competitors have medaled at New England Regional
Championships and have gone on to compete at Junior Nationals in all 3
disciplines of skating, Freestyle, Pairs and Ice Dancing.
