LEARN TO SKATE PROGRAM
COLONIAL FIGURE SKATING CLUB offers skating lessons for children and
adults in accordance with the Rules and Regulations set forth by US
Figure Skating.
Summer skating lessons will be offered on
Wednesday, August 5, 12, 19, 26, and September 2, 2009 in rink 3.
Snowplow Sam, Basic 1 through 8, and Adult 1 through 4 skaters can register
for the classes held during the 4 to 5 p.m. hour. Advanced adults and
Freestyle 1 through 6 skaters can register for classes held from 5:15 to
6:15 p.m.
Skaters who choose not to take lessons will have the opportunity to purchase
one hour of practice ice between the hours of 4 and 6 for $13 per hour.
Payments must be received in the Colonial office before skating.
NEW THIS YEAR!!! A Beginner Synchro Camp will be offered on
Monday, July 6th and 13th and Tuesday, July 7th and 14th from 2:30 to 4:45
p.m. in rink 2.
During the summer, the lesson schedule allows for more flexibility than
during the regular season. Skaters can skate all four weeks or miss a week
or two. Fees can be pro-rated as follows: $15 per class for the 4 p.m.
lessons ($75 for the session); $18 per class for the 5:15 p.m. lessons ($90
for the session). Please indicate which weeks you will be attending.
Full Payment is required at the time of registration. We accept cash,
checks, visa, master card and discover. Checks should be made payable to
