What is Theatre on Ice?
A competitive team, new to the U.S., using all aspects of
figure skating, incorporating a theme, emotion or story, enhanced by
music. Theatre on Ice teams utilize theatrical sets, props, and
costumes along with music and choreography to tell a story. Skaters are
judged as a collaborative group on their artistic quality, technical
skills and relationship with each other and the audience. Skaters are
challenged artistically, dramatically and technically in a supportive
group atmosphere. The experience of being part of a team offers a
positive social experience for competitive skaters whose training can
be intense and lonely, or skaters who prefer to compete and perform in
a group.
Who are we?
