Artistic Director/Choreographer

Mary Wanamaker is a versatile and accomplished teacher who has extensive training, performing, choreographing, and directing experience. After performing 10 years on and off Broadway, she began a successful dance and conditioning program at the Colonial Figure Skating Club in West Acton, MA. Her impressive credits include: Boston Ballet, Radio City Music Hall, Cabaret (with Joel Grey), 42nd Street (with Peter Marshall), The Tap Dance Kid, Chicago, Singing in the Rain, to name only a few. Well versed in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Modern, Pilates, Kick-Boxing and Yoga, she has successfully transferred her expertise onto the ice. Over the last 20 years she has taught many National, International, World and Olympic competitors. Theatre on Ice is a perfect fit !!!

Skating Coaches / Choreographers

Felita Carr began skating at the age of nine in NY where for 10 years she was a Freestyle skater. While skating as a child and young adult in NY, Felita trained under top World and Olympics coaches. In her 20's, Felita began Ice Dancing to broaden her knowledge of skating and that led to a competitive career and national ranking in Ice Dancing. Felita has been coaching skating full time for the past 19 years. Felita has successfully coached and trained her skating students through the USFS Gold Freestyle, Gold Moves in the Field and Gold Dance tests. Her competitors have medaled at New England Regional Championships and have gone on to compete at Junior Nationals in all 3 disciplines of skating, Freestyle, Pairs and Ice Dancing.

Alex Komorav began skating at the age of four in Yekaterinburg, Russia. He studied Freestyle, Pairs and Ice Dancing at the Sports School of Olympic Reserves in Yekaterinburg. At sixteen, Alex moved to Moscow to attend the Institute of Physical Culture. In 1993, Alex immigrated to the United States. Alex has been coaching full time in the US since 1993. His students have completed Gold Freestyle, Gold Moves in the Field, and Pre-Gold Dance tests. His competitors have medaled at the New England Championships. At Junior Nationals, Alex has had competitors in Freestyle, Pairs and Ice Dance.
